As a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), Portico Benefit Services provides retirement, health, life, disability, and wellness benefits to enhance the total well-being of those who serve faith-based organizations.
History of Caring
Over 200 years ago, as an act of charity, the Lutheran Church began providing benefits to families of pastors who died while in service to the church. What began as charity evolved into a crucial commitment to the well-being of those who serve in the church, social ministry organizations, and higher education.
Rooted in Service to Others
Portico exists to serve those who strengthen our communities. We continue to build on the legacy of our predecessors, leveraging the latest technology and advancements to help support holistic well-being.
We offer innovative health and wellness programs to help you attract and retain the right talent and provide employees access to an employer-sponsored retirement plan that can enhance financial stability. Our dedicated, knowledgeable team members engage, equip, and support you and your employees from benefits design to onboarding and ongoing plan administration.
