Stacy A. Kruse

Interim President & CEO

As Interim President & CEO, Stacy leads all aspects of Portico’s business, finance, and staff functions, as well as enterprise governance, treasury, risk management, and related operations. Portico, a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, helps those who serve to live well – financially, emotionally, and physically.

Stacy is passionate about driving transformational growth and inspiring teams through strong leadership, a laser focus on customers, and continuous improvement. In 2018, she was recognized for her leadership as a CFO of the Year honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. In addition to her executive leadership role at Portico, Stacy is on the Board of Directors for Nortech Systems (NSYS), and served as the Treasurer and CFO Roundtable Co-Chair for the Church Benefits Association (CBA) for many years.


Prior to joining Portico in 2008, Stacy held leadership roles in finance, treasury, and operations with PreVu Incorporated (formerly Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc.), U.S. Bancorp, and Carlson Marketing Group. She received her bachelor’s degree from Winona State University in Winona, MN.


Stacy and her husband, Norm, have three adult children and three granddaughters. They reside in Chanhassen, MN.
