The Go to Market & Consumer Experience Product Consultant creates go-to-market strategies and value propositions for Portico’s products while working closely with the Business Development and Brand & Customer Engagement teams. This position will use customer research and sales input to inform product development and management teams of product enhancements that our customers want. The Go to Market & Consumer Experience Product Consultant strategically and creatively thinks about how the consumer experience should work and translates the product vision to execute key product deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Find product and delivery solutions tailored to client needs and work with cross functional teams to bring changes to the product delivery model and value proposition
  • Respond to customer requests and requests for proposals from clients
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate applicable data from all sources (clients, prospects, and potential customers) to identify market characteristics, needs, and problems (for example, market opportunities, trends, user preferences, industry standards, and internal product trends)
  • Develop and demonstrate a solid understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with internal and external business constituents on product inquiries; may be project-based and involve working within multiple product functions
  • Influence and lead multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff
  • Understand and comply with Portico’s governance, risk, and compliance standards, including internal controls, regulatory compliance, and policy compliance

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to be customer-facing
  • Superior presentation skills with external audiences to fluidly and dynamically respond to client questions and articulated needs on a real-time basis
  • Capacity to work with minimal guidance, seeking guidance on only the most complex tasks or where necessary
  • Comfortable and capable of influencing stakeholders, listening actively, and speaking and writing clearly
  • Demonstrated operational problem-solving, process development, and consensus building experience
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Analytic thinker with natural curiosity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a field that demonstrates product management capabilities such as management, economics, or business

Experience

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in a related job
  • Health care or financial services experience or knowledge preferred
